Success Story - Mohammed Babangida
Mohammed Babangida graduated from business school and immediately sought out his stake of the oil trading and market making business. Through a handful of successful billion US$ deals during his company’s third fiscal year, he’s managed to leverage profits into growing the trading and marketing making business into a full-on oil conglomerate, involved in refining, research, trading and market making, even retail distribution.
Success didn’t come quick or easy, for Mohammed Babangida. Mohammed Babangida was born and raised in what’s generally considered to be a slum of Nigeria. A son of a poor butcher, and the second of nine children, his modest lifestyle is a nod to this simple upbringing.
